"Oh, no!" Ayoë suddenly realize that she is going to lose her newfound
friends after just a small taste of adventure. "At least let me invite you
all to come visit with my mother and myself. My brother, Lan, is not in
town at the moment, but he will be delighted to meet you all if he returns
before you are back. And I am sure a homecooked meal is better than the
fare at any of the inns in town, even if some of the inns are quite
pleasant. My mother is a good cook - and we usually have guests over,
singing and playing music at all hours of the night. Including most of the
neighbours, fortunately."
She does not realize just how beautiful she is, as she stands there,
pleading with them. Her slender figure, extremely long, silver hair and her
lilac eyes make her look like a beautiful figurine of exotic china.
"Lenora, you promised to tell me the tales of your adventures... Would you
not stay with us, please? It is not a large house, but we could have a c
ouple of guests, who don't mind sleeping on improvised beds. And I would so
have liked to study the journal further." She sighs. "Oh, well, I'll have
the armor to investigate, of course. Most likely it is magical, but I'll
need to go to the library to find out for sure."
As the group parts ways, she makes sure everyone knows exactly how to find
her mothers house.
