Garrott shook his massive craggy head and slowly stood, he moved to his
equipment and gathered it together.
"It appears that Todiel has made his decision and that he has proven to be a
danger and a threat to us all." He stood with his light crystal in his
massive hand, illuminating them all. "However I would also ask you to
consider the following. We may come back to finish what we began here at
another time, I do not feel that the horror will give up it's nesting place
soon. I feel that the duty we owe Sara Mayfler and the village is more than
what we owe one Kaer that has been breached amongst many within the
Badlands. Honestly can any of you say that the fall of one Kaer with a
horror is going to make a difference here?" Garrott shook his head.
"However I intend to return." The big man moved to stand beside Kerrick.
"Also the longer we dally here, the greater the risk that the trail of the
one we seek grows cold. Maeraths misgivings aside, I believe we should
strike out for Kratas immeadiately. We should also take the time to in some
way warn others of the dangers here in this Kaer and of Todiel. I do not
however believe him to be a horror. Perhaps Temorya could carve the warning
in stone, with the knowledge we have about seperating Todiel and the host?"
Garrott holds the eyes of each of the party before speaking. "I am sure my
friend Kerrick could well spot if I am who I say I am, then you should leave
the Kaer and I will free Todiel, for I cannot in good conscience allow him
to die bound. His time grows near, his host has almost been spent and when
it is, I feel that Todiel will die also. In that way none of us have soiled
our hands in the blood of this wretched creature."
