Maerath keeps his eyes on Todiel while he answers Rose's question quiet enough so as not for the whole group, "I feel that his position is possibly that he feels damned no matter what. This large of a group against him is intimidating. I wonder if a single approach, taking him aside, might prove useful. He might not feel too intimidating and may reveal more to a single person than to the entire group. But I fear that with all these harsh ideas about what to do with him within his earshot may have ruined any further chances we have with him.
"His mind is full of knowledge we could use if he were on our side. If he had some motivation to speak and work with us...I don't know. I think we've ruined our chances of any other options with him." Maerath then turns to Rose, "What about you?"
