Lenora had said her peace for the moment. While all the others continued
talking she gathered what wood she could and deposited it beside Kalais's body.
She had to calm down and reign in her temper or she knew she'd put her foot in
her mouth. Time and time again that'd been proved to her. And though both sides
had their points, passion was the true fire behind the conversation.
Therefore there could be no right answer, only a sway to one side or the other.
She hadn't particularly agreed with Kalais. He was a corse man. He had a past
that had grated him. But she was looking forward to eventually worming out of
him what it was that haunted him. Now that chase was lost. And she was sorry
for his loss. It seemed so terrible of a way to go, so she gathered some straw
flowers out of the grass as well to lay with the wood. After that she sought
out his bow to lay beside his remains. Then sat down cross legged beside the
shrouded form.
"I am sorry for the troubles that you bore throught your life. For the edge
of pain that rimmed your words. For the ending not befitting of you. I hope
now, in whatever world you walk that your time is peaceful, your hunt plentyful
and your surroundings filled with that which you love and value. If you can
hear me, if you linger, we will do our best to right you. We will learn your
story and bear it to others that your strength and purpose might bring others from
their time of dark and give them strength to carry on. Please be at peace.
Take your place in the stars mighty hunter.."
