Garrott rests heavily on his hammer as he slowly sucks in a deep breath
into his massive chest. The spikes piercing his skin hurt, though he wills
himself to ignore it, he had successfully bested another horror and he felt
that his recent decision was the right one to make. Listening to Pean
admonishing the other members of the party he closes his eyes and takes
another long slow breath, willing the fire in his limbs to leave his frame
and the patter of his blue blood drops coming from him to cease. Name
givers would always lunge at the wealth before them and it was small wonder
that the horrors of the world cursed items that glittered as brightly as the
lust in a Name Givers eye. Moving slowly, he stooped and looked at one of
the coins that was lying on the ground, before grunting and moving on.
"Pean, assuming that none of theses items are cursed or tainted, have Lenora
and Farli divide the bounty evenly. Obviously consideration should be given
to items, which would do people little good, such as that armour and I...it
looks a little snug for me." He moves slowly towards the entrance, willing
the pain not to show on his face as the crystal scraped against his joints.
"Kerrick, if you would my old friend, come stand watch with me until
Shalandra and Temorya return." Garrott suddenly felt very tired, he was
sure that the taint upon this place and the fact that he could not feel the
wind upon his face was the reason. "We should not loiter about here any
longer than we need to, we need to get to Kratas and follow up this new
request."
