"I meant the Horror. It is my understanding that the bodyswapping is not a
natural power of trolls, so I would suggest that the Horror is responsible.
If anything was known of the Horror, we might be able to find out of that
theory was valid or not", Ayoë says, trying to explain her point of view.

"Well, belief or not, you do not know. Not knowing, you might be wrong.
Would you want to kill an innocent being?" Ayoës voice trembles. Her purple
eyes darken as tears start forming. She blinks them away, not wanting to
sob like a little girl.

"Then in essence it seems you are agreeing that Todiel - the body of the
troll - is not the guilty party. The question then arises - is there still
a remnant of the innocent troll inside the body or is it merely the
bodysnatcher, which resides there now?" Ayoë speaks more calmly now. It
seems the scholarly question has her interest to such an extent as to make
her forget the surroundings.
> I must remind you all, again, that we have no idea of its powers.

"Actually, morals is what sets us apart as Namegivers from those, who you
mentioned. Gnashers, Scorchers and so on - they have no concept of right
and wrong and no restraint beyond the simple needs of their own lives. So
we need to take the time to have this debate - if we do not, we fail as
Namegivers ourselves." Ayoë meets Peans gaze and holds it, almost
challenging.
"I could just step out of this debate and say that it is none of my
business, as I do not know the entire picture. But that too would be wrong.
I would not be showing much character if I stepped down at the first sign
of confrontation. So you'll have to excuse my rude and forward manners in
this matter."
Ayoë turns her eyes down in a demure and apologetic way, which seems very
sincere. She even blushes a bit, perhaps startled that she has taken such a
strong standpoint. Her skin shines in the light with the color of ivory.
Somehow she seems made for a gentler life than that of an adventurer.
Courtier, yes. Scholar, yes. But adventurer? That remains to be seen.
*** OOC: Congrats. Mark! And yes, this is a great debate :) ***
