Starting that very first day Lenora pulls out a hide and quill and begins
sketching out the front cavern in detail. In the margins to the side she record
bits about what has happened to everyone and her thoughts as if it were a
journal. Should anyone peek over her shoulder, all her little notations are
addressed to her parents whom she describes the rest of the party and surroundings to.
She sings to herself to keep herself busy, tells stories to fill in the quiet
times when everyone sits it tired silence of legends and heroes and amazing
feats. Or picks on the bear cub and makes faces at him to keep him busy when
Farli needs a break. Or bringing people more hurt than her food or water or
telling little jokes. Anything to pass the time.
Her days seem to consist of keeping her and others' spirits up as much as
possible. Her nights, however are much less pleasant. Lenora had never been one
for nightmares or terrors in the dark, but sleeps fitfully and wakes up
startled and shaky nightly once inside the caer. She worries over it for some time
the first two mornings, trying to put together what it all means before telling
the others as they agreed to talk about 'anymore of these odd dreams'.
Finally while passing out whatever noontime lunch they've thrown together she
finally voices the subject. "Has anyone else had any strange dreams while
we've been here? I've had these nightmares.. The same one every night. I thought
at first it was because I was hurting a bit, but for it to repeat is a bit too
odd."
"It starts off nice enough with ideas of great happiness and lovely murals
but ends somewhat horrificly with an obelisk and tentacles and I'm thinking dead
Lenora. Anyone else having odd dreams?"
