As the door is being examined Lenora checks on those that are still wounded
and tries to get them to rest a bit while the door is still closed as their
time to rest inside might be little, if any. She rubs sore feet and aching
calves, giving quiet pep talks and words of encouragement. Though never being inside
a caer, this was much more her element: underground, unknown and exciting.

"You know, I've seen some sections of caverns warded by special spells that
have to be activated and their gamuts run before they allow enterance, such as
puzzles and riddles. Could it be something like that on the door that a simple
knock could activate? Or perhaps touching the wand to it since the wand has
been inside and could be somehow attuned?"

"I would think that whatever is inside is surely not untouched since the
original wards were broken. It is a good point: the wand got out somehow. So we'd
best be prepared for tricks and traps. And Elkisee is the best judge that we
have on those."

"Whilst we are inside I'll keep a map of what we find or where we are going,
what traps and where we encounter them and so on. That way we will not be
surprised if we need to make a hasty retreat for any reason." She says as she
starts hastily disassembling some of what she brought with her, tucking, looping
and prepairing as if she'd done something like this before.

She attaches a coil of rope at her belt, sliding two pintons into place
before it. Sets oil into a lantern with a shield to contain the spread of light.
Pulls on leather gloves and tucks ink and hides into her loose blouse that she
only need to reach for them.

Securing her waterskins at her side and tucking rations into pouches, she
couldn't help but hum with energy. This would be a story to tell her parents.
They had always dreamed of finding a caer buried somewhere in the caverns, but
still hadn't found one last she heard from them. She would get to explore one,
bring them a map, tell them of their findings. Make them proud that she's
carrying on the family tradition in her own way.

With a smile Lenora looked to her fellows. "Can I help anyone prepare?"
