You are able to (and even make your test to) write those two spells into
your spellbook. I had to add 20 LP on so you would have enough to learn the
spells and that will e deducted from your total earned next time I award LP
(think of it as a loaner!).

Your attempt to haggle fals on deaf ears apparently, with Stelton showing
great interest in your tale, but seemingly oblivious to the fact that you
are trying to get more than just the two spells from him.

Stelton is appreciative of the company and talks to you at length of his
plans to design a spell that cleans the astral space around a horror. He
has a theory that the astral space is corrupted by their presence because
they can only draw energy from corrupt astral energies. He feels that if he
can create a spell to clean the astral energies and make it remain clean
that a horror would be powerless.

During the conversation you buy a bottle of fine wine to enjoy between you
and you turn the conversation to the Corinthian.

"Ah yes, an enigma of the social circles. His influence came about five
years ago around the time the poor magistrate applicant was killed and the
troubadours wife. He seems to have no business nor means of wealth. In
fact, none even know where he lives, but he is always on the fringe of
society here.

"Some say that he is a bad omen and those that become closest to him suffer
some misfortune. I know not enough of him or his dealings to judge one way
or another. Others who are more superstitious believe that he steals your
soul with a look through those glasses" Stelton chuckles a little showing
he does not believe the tale "and that any that have seen him without them
on lose the power of sight forever!"

Stelton is more than happy foor you to return contact with him, and he would
welcome any help you could give him (i.e. observances) in the development of
his spell.....
