At the sudden break in tension at the arena Lenora picks up a strange and
wary mood. She takes careful notice on the confusion on the faces around her and
her skin prickles. With no threat looming, she looks over her friends briefly
to see if they are harmed at all and then returns to the inn with the group,
keeping a good distance from this Corinthian. There was a bad taste in her
mouth. Either the entire town had bouts of insanity or someone was working the
crowd over. This man had gifted them with front row tickets to their companion's
execution, he knew what was going on. And Lenora didn't like it.
> "I trust that all went well then Rhys!" She laughs, hoping her humour will
break the > tension that seems to hold you all from speech.....
"Heh heh, so very witty." Lenora groans, plopping into a chair. After asking
Elkisee if she minds, she pours herself a goblet of watered wine and sighs.
"What a day trip to Hades that was.."
> "To the innocent Maerath and Elklisee provider of a fine meal."
>
"Here, here.." Lenora agrees tiredly. She tried to keep to the outside of the
conversation a bit, watching over the reactions of her fellows and
interactions with this Corinthian person. Part of her shook her head in distaste. She,
Lenora, was usually THE most trusting of souls. It was so unlike her to carry a
shadow of doubt for anyone. So much hostility probably. It was just putting
her on edge. She had no stomach for the food. And barely any for the wine that
she half-heartedly sipped at.
> "Thank you everyone for your support. I am sorry that you all had to go
through
> that ordeal on my account. I suppose you are all wondering what is going
on?"
Lenora nodded her head quietly.
> "I have much to tell you, although I am afraid of what it may mean if I
>do tell you. I fear that if I tell you, you will be in even more risk of
>being in my presence than we encountered today."
Lenora sighs. "In for a penny, in for a pound. Besides, there's much
discussion that should go on I'm thinking. I have some things to bring up to you as
well."
