Garrott looks about the docks and seeing the approaching guards, the numbers were surely against them and this is one battle that he could not hope to win. Although he could probably disable one or two and take a beating that would leave most men dead, there seemed little point. Turning back to his fellow travellers his eyes sought out Temorya and then flick to the opposie shore.
"Sometimes I wish I was a bird and could just fly away." He hoped that the Windling would get his meaning and he turned back to the guards, a soul sucking sense of defeat enveloped him, washing over him. Going over the last few weeks of his experiences as he sunk to his knee's on the dock, he realised that he probably should have stayed in his lush valley with his kin. He had lost all of his original companions, most to death. He ached to speak with Kerrick again, the easy going Ork with the toothy grin, he missed tiny Alden and his espagra mount, the dashing chivalrous windling always made him smile, he also missed Silver, regretting his anger at their parting. Most of all though he missed Zeph, he wondered if his kin felt the same pain at the inpermanent nature of the people they called friends. He went over the last few weeks in his head, as he linked his hands behind his head he sighed, the betrayals and also the machinations of others. Garrott would not sink to his belly for the guards, he refused to sink to his belly here on this dock, despair waged with anger as he questioned wether his code was wrong and if Sagrine was wrong. Looking up to Farli he let his despair bleed out of him and felt it in his chest, hopelessness. Turning to the guard he felt anger flare at the injustice that was being done to them and he locked eyes with the guard.
"I submit...however...take a care that you do not man handle any too roughly, lest I get angry...you would not like me angry."
