I will abide by the truce, but I would like everybody to consider Kaths
mail of earlier where she pointed out that Siri and Illyana were discarded
somewhat offhandedly because of age and gender and romantic interests. I
hope that is not going to be the way it is going to be for now on. Let me
remind everybody that Astran is of the same age as Illyana and Grendahl,
despite his beardy self, is of the same age as Siri. Grendahl, being a
longerlived race, might actually be younger comparatively. The age of the
elves is not known, neither is T'sunamis, but none of the characters are
very experienced, so most likely they are all young for their race.
These are out-of-game facts that affect our characters which is why I bring
them forward even now. This is not an attempt to start the debate again,
but something I would like to have all keep in mind. It is my hope that the
world of Earthdawn is not a world of gender prejudiciscm. In fact, all the
characters are Adepts. Isn't that an equal status?

here in the spirit of playing the game. We all have different playing
styles, some into more realistic playing styles and others into heroic
fantasy style. I am more of a dark/horror type style. But the thing is we
need to focus on the challenges presented to us by Doug and play our
characters the best way we can.

condescending coming out of the blue and trying to call for a break and I
apologise for that if you do. I just think we need to just put it all
behind us and start the next journey afresh.
