Siri is 22 by the way. She is simply very small boned. I have no trouble agreeing that Siri shouldn't be the leader. She's got too much shit on her plate to devote her full attention to the group's priorities. I've already said that. All I'm saying is that some of your requirements are very silly. And the behavior in which the 'picking process' going on at the table is kind of insulting.

Ok, Dave, got a suggestion here to help bring the steam down and let's see how this plays:

Let's first look at disciplines. The adept versus the common trade. Adept warrior is the strength of his platoon. Adept thief is the teacher of lessons. Adept swordmaster is the flair and spirit of the sword. Adept calvaryman is bonded by spirit with their beast.

The everday warrior is paid and does what they are told or freelancers. The average thief steals for kicks. Swordmaster may be a blathering drunk and totally classless. Average calvaryman likes his horse a lot.

We're playing Earthdawn not D&D so there's a big differance. If Siri was to go pick off jewels from your person after you died that'd be a discipline violation unless she turned to lone wolf, which she is not. You're forgetting the magic there and the heroic portent of the game.

We're all heroes here, right? In every movie that every fantasy game is partially inspired by the group can have stress within it, but there's no true arguements without seperation of the group. Let's not do that.

We can argue, we can go over heated points, I don't care. Let's get in each other's faces IC if need be and duke it out. But llet's stop doing it off handedly and passing it around the table. Reread some of the posts and you'll see what I mean.

Siri isn't being secretive about anything. In fact two people already know a good bit of her tale, not including Andre. The time simply hasn't come up to speak of it yet.

And go ahead and be decide to run with a point that you want your character to be wrong on two, a little bit of that can be fun once in awhile Dave. But you're being way too bullish and aggressive. We don't all need to be cuddly pretty sunshine fun, god no. But we do need to have that one thread that binds us together. I don't care if it was 'that one time when you saved ..' or a 'he and I share drinks on occasion..' kind of thing. As adept's we're not all stuck in an office complex. We don't have to be together so we do need to make a common bond however small to hold together.
