Illyana cannot hide a quick smile at the trolls description of T'sunami.
She could not agree more. At least not about the lack of charisma.

your life depends on it?" Illyana is intrigued by the trolls arguments. She
knows she does not want to be the group leader, but she also knows that
this group needs someone to lead them - badly! Someone trustworthy and
charismatic. She looks around at the group. Kestrel? No, too flaky and
unsure of herself. Nightwind? Perhaps... Lyra? Too much of an airhead
sometimes. Would go wandering off in the wrong direction if she had a
chance to draw a map of it. Astran? T'sunamis hurtful words aside, then it
is unwise to make the leader of the group a person who is .... perhaps...
horrormarked. Trystan? Too weak of personality. Too frail of nature.
Grendahl? Too much of a warrior. Boneheaded and not really ready to listen
to others. Andre? Too much of a sissy, despite his claims of being a 4th
circle Scout. Endok-tuk? Too strange sometimes, though a better choice than
most.
Illyana has been through the list in her head before. To her, Siri is still
the best choice. They all have strong sides, but few could actually keep
the group together in a bind. Siri might. Her selfpreservation certainly
has kept herself alive under more duress than any of the others had faced
so far. She silently agrees with Endok-tuk that Siri is damaged, but she
would not go as far as to call her broken. Siri has bent like the willow,
yielding to pressure.
Illyana kepts her observations quiet, hoping that the group will end up
agreeing on a leader all will follow. And if it is T'sunami... Well, that
is not very likely to happen, fortunately.
