<!-- "I would hope your master spells the title correctly before it's
published." :P j/k:: like I have room to talk. :) -->
"I'm no wizard," the T'skrang replies. "Though I wouldn't consider the fact
that no one has devised protection to be proof there is no danger. The
danger could very well simply be lesser than that of spellcasting, or
perhaps no correlation was made between the talent's use and the negative
effects due to only a small number of occurrences. Regardless, it is just a
theory and may or may not be correct. But in the ruins beyond Haven's
walls, every precaution must be taken - that means assuming the worst case
scenario. If that assumption's wrong, no harm is done. But if it's
correct... then we must be careful. It's not about validating my ideas,
it's about protecting against the unknown.
"As for your book..." T'sunami shrugs. "Perhaps sometime later, if you
wish. I doubt many of our companions would find a discussion of astral
theory stimulating."

"Obviously you're ignoring the idea of 'more noise' being louder - thus less
desirable - than 'some noise.'" he says after rewetting his tongue, "I had
considered Berryblood the leader of the group, as it was by his coin we were
paid. After his death, I consider the group was without leadership. I did
what was required to return everyone to the safety of Haven - you can label
that however you wish.
"But if your actions endanger myself and everyone else in the group, then
the decision to remove that danger /is/ mine, as well as anyone else in the
group's, decision to make. And I /will/ act against anyone threatening my
life or the lives of anyone I protect. My Discipline commands it, and I
will not forsake my beliefs simply to save someone's feelings.
"If you wish to address the issue of leadership for the future, assuming
everyone wanted to remain together..." The T'skrang looks around the table,
critiquing the adepts gathered together. "Of the few who have shown the
force of presence and will to assume a leadership roll, I haven't seen
anyone else as capable of thinking about the group as a whole and looking at
the bigger picture. Others seem burdened by selfishness or naivety. I seem
to be the only one who has held a similar position before coming here and
judging by our last trip, the most capable. While I don't claim to be
leading anyone now, you could do far worse than to be in my charge."
