< Kestrel jumps slightly at the touch then whispers to Siri "I was a slave. < I served in almost every way and I still have scars from those."
Siri threw an arm around the elf's and glanced to Nightwind. "We're going to bathe and talk and other womanly things that men souldn't be privvy to. I'll keep her safe."
"C'mon Kessie. We'll get our things settled in the rooms first then you and I shall have a talk."
((I'll be sending you a private email for a JP. I'll CC anyone who wants to see it after it's done.))
Later that evening.
>"What's good?" she asks as she reenters the dining room and finds a place
>for herself at the table. "Is the wine worth mentioning?"
Siri sniffed her goblet apprehensively. "No. It's a mite sour, probably harvested too early and the color's bad." She takes a sip. "Taste is palatable though. Not good, but it's something to drink.. Passions, am I spoiled.."
"The roast fowl is quite good though. Lots of rosemary.." She sighed in appreaciation, not wearing her cloak now as her mass of curls did a more than adequate job of covering her face from the side view. It was understandable why she had it braided back in Parlainth. Unbound and freshly washed she had enough hair for three people and damned if it wasn't a good stone of her weight.
She had freckles now that could be seen once the grime had been washed away from stem to stern it seemed. Waist length ringlets and blue grey eyes and dainty child like features.
Along with the freckles though was a mass of fine white scars that criss-crossed her hands and wrist, neck and cheast and even the sides of her face in more defined lines. She still dressed increadibly conservativly, showing very little, but what was there was quite scarred as if someone took a dagger point and drew.
She didn't wear her gloves either and the tattoo was visible in all it's ugliness, but she seemed much less afraid now, almost proud as if the group made her feel secure and just a little ballsy.
"I propose a toast." Siri said, once all were seated. "To the man who brought us all together! May his name echo in Thystonius halls of valor and his death be only the beginning of a new like packed with glory, honor and wisdom. To Berryblood."
