Endok-tuk snorts and shakes his head at all the talk of hot baths and soft
beds, finally nodding when Grendahl speaks up.
"Ale and room on da floor by a fire! Who need a bath after rain wash skin
clean!" He chuckles at the creature comforts those that had travelled with
him talk about.
"Be she a prize or not, I think we should look for some immediate benefit
from Selwyn. She may be better off in da hands of da wizard in Haven. He
can look after her and fix her and have what she knows for a price. Then we
no need to babysit her anymore?" Endok-tuk knows this will not go down well
in the group as many appear as if they have found a pet that they can care
for. Still, he knows that it is the smartest thing to do as they cannot all
keep an eye on each others backs as well as having to look after Selwyn at
every turn.
"As for food, you can save your coin. I can find some juicy rat and fat
pidgeon for a stew. Fill you up and keep you moving for several days."
Endok-tuk licks his lips at the thought of the meal his mother used to make
for him. He is uncertain if he can find the correct roots to make it taste
just right in the stone streets of Haven, but he is sure that he can make do
with some of the plants that grow between the cracks on the road.....
