Lyra looks up at the big Troll. "You are right Endok-tuk. WE did do ok in there as a group didn't we." She has a smile on her face and in her voice that almost lights up the alleyway. "I for one have already paid for a few nights at the inn and I'm hoping that the one I lost last night can be applied to you. I will ask when we get there. I am willing to go back to Paralanth with you and anyone else that wants to go. I am wanting to map it. I could just spend years here......" With that Lyra's face almost goes trancelike. She is dreaming of becoming the famous Elf that Mapped the unmappable Parlanth.

  Passing the gates the troll known as Endok-tuk stretches his limbs out wide and sniffs the thick air. "We need to think about 'ow we can seperate da loot then!" He glances ever so briefly at Selwyn, the pre scourge elf that has little of the knowledge that was promised of them.

  "Does anyone have a place where we can bed down for da evenin'? The rates of da inn are high and my pouch is still empty! Then we must decide where to from 'ere? It is hard to split such a prize due to its nature. Do we stick together in da hope it pays off or go our own separate ways? I for one say that part from all da fighting we went into dat place and came out mostly intact. Must say something for us?"

  The big troll seems to be full of energy and his mood has swung to an all time high. As he speaks his eyes gleam and he dances from foot to foot, embellishing his speech with expansive gestures and dancing around the group as if he were some kind of tribal healer. From his look and smell it suddenly strikes you that Endok-tuk is more than likely exactly that. His clothing and armour is extremely roughly fashioned and the body decorations of bones in his hair and faint scarring from tatoos show that he is more than likely a member of the savage tribes from the Caucavic, little seen but always remembered.

  His magical abilities would mark him as a respected member of any tribe but his presence in Haven is unusual to say the least. What would tear such a being from his tribe and back into a civilisation where the rules of life are so different. He is charming enough to find the good grace of any host, but different enough to make most people wary.

  Cheers

    The ragged human looks to all of you with a concerned look, "You're friend has gone insane. I am sure of it. I have told you all that I know. The book is most likely created by a horror. You have been warned. Personally, I do not wish to tarry here any longer. Good luck to you all, and thank you. I wish I had something to give but unfortunately, I do not. Should we meet in better circumstances." With that, he starts to head north towards the Laneways. If any are calling out to him, he does not seem to hear. He is going at a quick pace, obviously intent on getting where ever it is he is headed.

    Finally deciding that it is the majority that feels they should head through the Twists, Andre warns, "I understand that Berryblood led you to hide from house to house. I do not find this completely wise, as I have heard that some horrors may yet still lurk inside these buildings. Coming near to them may make our presence known to them, or to other creatures.

    "When I came through, I was alone. It was easier to walk through the open and not risk getting caught by anything when you are alone. But since we are a large group, it would still be better to walk straight through the open than it would be any other way."

    With that, Andre and Lyra lead the way through the Twists. It is hard to be quick through the Twists, but still you march, until finally you are back to where you had fought the undead. The bodies are no where to be seen, and a slight chill runs up your spine. You shake the feeling off, and realize you will be better off once you make it to Haven.

    Soon you are on the Laneways, and the large gate to Haven is in your sights. You approach the gate where the guards step up to meet you. Apparently they do not realize that your numbers have increased, and after a quick look up and down, they let you through. Finally you are back.

    The dirty smell of Haven could never be better.

    <Moves please>

    <Sorry this post took me a while to get out. Been busy trying to take care of things so we can move out of our house ASAP. Such an awful thing, having built a house and moved in just to move out. * sigh * Oh well. Will keep you informed on what happens and if and when the game is put on hold. >

    <Also, next post will start a new chapter. Because of this, I will be giving out the legend awards now. You should be getting an E-Mail letting you know of the updates. Only problem is that the website seems to be down right now, so until I get word from Dave as to what's up, I won't be able to post the LP awards. If I have to, I will E-Mail them to you all individually. >
