OK, here is my suggestion: If you need input from specific players as to
their intentions, mail them off list individually. In this case I assume
you really have to know what Endok-tuks intentions are. If you do not get a
response (I hope Mark has already told you his intention), go on what you
have from the players who have submitted their intentions and previous
mails.
Let one of us (you can make it Illyana if you like) ask the crazy human to
tell his name and story while we walk back towards Haven. If Endok-tuk is
going to go ballistic (ie. be cursed by having touched the book) then
describe it. It seems from your description of the human that he cannot
have been in this part of Parlainth on his own for long (ragged explorer).
It seems we are not going to force Endok-tuk to give up the book, but try
to convince him at first. Our mistake, but if you allow your crazy person
to tell his story in more detail, we might act.
If nothing happens, then we have nothing to act upon.
