Endok-Tuk lifts the t'skrang up to the rope, at which point T'sunami manages to tie the two ends together. However, upon trying to climb up the rope, T'sunami's grip fails him and he falls back down the hole (8). Endok-Tuk tries to catch him, but fails. Luckily the t'skrang lands on his feet before falling to the ground, and his armor prevents any damage done to him. At least the rope is tied, and another attempt is made.
Again the t'skrang falls down (4), having lost his grip, however this time the troll is there to catch him. Determined, he tries again, and slips yet again (7), and suffers no damage as he falls down to the troll again.
Andre steps forward, "I fear that those who are not too greatly skilled at climbing will have trouble even while using the rope. It is a rocky cliff, and will hold slightly difficult to climb. It was difficult even for the three of us. Perhaps Lyra and I can try, and if we fail we should try to find another way? I'm not really sure what to do. Heck, even if /we/ can get out, how are the rest of you to follow? And what of Selwyn?"
Illyana is quick to use her newly found language to ask the elf the question of how she feels. Selwyn replies, and it is translated back, "I must admit, I do not know if I have the ability to climb well or not. I do not feel I can. As it is, I feel my body is too weak to make the climb. I am sorry that I am such a burden on you all."
Andre speaks in reply, "What are we to do then? There are sounds coming towards us, we have those that know somewhat how to climb that cannot make it up. I would say that Lyra and I could go for help, or try to find something, but that would be extremely dangerous to risk only two of us trekking through the Twists. Perhaps.let us have each person try once, and see what we come up with?"
With that, T'sunami tries once again to climb up the rope, but alas.he just can't do it (10) and Endok-Tuk fails to catch him this time. Luckily he again lands on his feet, then to the ground, and takes no damage.
Next to attempt the feat is Andre himself, who quickly makes it up (15). He takes a moment up top, and looks around. "It looks all clear up here. Definitely not as dark as it was last night, but the clouds still hover above us."
Astran grabs a hold of the rope, and his lurpy body manages to make it up the rope, surprising most those around him (14).
Grendahl attempts the feat, and barely loses grip and falls down (11) to Endok-Tuk who catches the dwarf.
Illyana steps up to the plate, but loses her footing and falls back down (9) to Endok-Tuk who catches her.
Kestrel is next, and falls (7). Endok-Tuk and Nightwind both try to catch her, but she falls through, lands on her feet and then falls on her seat, suffering no damage as the armor protects her.
Nightwind suffers the same fate (9), and Endok-Tuk breaks his fall.
Lyra steps to the rope and quickly climbs up (17) to join Andre and Astran.
Siri climbs up fast as well (15) and joins the three that are up above looking down.
Finally, it's Endok-Tuk, who sadly everyone down below clears the way in case he does fall. Unfortunately the big guy is not able to keep his footing well (6), and falls down suffering no damage as his armor takes the brunt of it all.
There you stand, four of you above ground, the rest below ground. The sounds of footsteps are not far in the distance.it is hard to tell how close or how far away they are exactly. Above you is the hole with Lyra, Andre, Siri, and Astran looking down. Outside of the room, somewhere, are the sounds. You are faced with much to figure out, and the possibility of not much time to sort it out.
<Moves Please>
<Luckily no one took any damage from falling down due to their armor protecting them. I have no further details to note at the moment, but if you need any extra details that I have not mentioned - please let me know. >
