Illyana looks at Andre, as if weighing him. Then she laughs softly. "Of
course it would be wise of us to heed the words of one so learned", she
grins. "You must be all of 20 years, at least, ancient one". The smile in
her eyes assures him that it was not meant as mockery, but as a way to
relieve tension. Her smile is broader now. "Let's see if we can get out of
the Catacombs - then we can avail ourselves of your excellent abilities to
get us back to Haven, a hot bath and a hotter meal." Illyana sighs slightly
"... and a tailor..."
Illyana grins again: "Onwards!" She motions to Grendahl and Andre to take
the lead, bowing playfully and elaborately as they pass her, staying with
Astran near the rear. This time she is not going to play at being a hero.
Grendahl is here - oddly comforting to her. All her life, she has had
strong male rolemodels to live up to - and he is the closest in looks and
actions to her father. A sad smile lingers on her lips and a single tear
forms at the thought of home and her family. "Let's go..." she whispers
into the darkness. "Let's go be heroes, if just for one day..." The last
words fade into silence.
