Andre, having watched the arguments go on for a while, finally speaks up,
"You know, not to sound all high and mightier than any of you, but you are
all rookies in your disciplines. Just because you have been trained in the
way of the Warrior, or Swordmaster, or Magician, or whatever does not make
you an expert in the ways of the world - astral or otherwise.
"Now, I am no expert, but I do follow the ways of a 4th circle Scout. I
have been in a few of the most tainted areas of Barsaive. I would consider
my own house one of them." he winks at Siri. "And in all my travels I have
never seen, nor heard, nor experienced any problem with performing a karma
ritual. However, a Scout's ritual is most risky in of itself, having to be
led into the forest blindfolded and having to find your way back.
"The only risk I see in a Karma Ritual, would be the noise some disciplines
create when doing their ritual. Other than that, if you were to say that
Karma Ritual were an Astral Flare, you might as well say that none of us
should use our Discipline's Talents, nor should the magician cast his
spells, nor should we attempt anything magical at all.
"Now, given the fact that one of your companions cast raw magic in the
middle of one of the most tainted areas of Parlainth, let alone Barsaive, I
can understand the worry that has been presented. But still, as I said
before, you may as well restrict all magic, including our talents, if you
think that using a Karma Ritual were to attract any attention through Astral
Space. Do I have any arguments on the matter?"
