As the party prepares to leave and breaks its fast, Astran and Illyana
share many significant glances. Astran seems more resolute this
morning, as if having made up his mind on something, but is also
looking at Illyana in the way that reminds many in the party of their
first romance, the "Wow. What does she see in me?" kind of pleased
disbelief..
He packs slowly, and stiffly - its obviously not the first time he's
slept on the ground, but obviously the effects of dealing with the
corrupted astral space are taking their time to wear off, as he moves
like a man three times his age.

"I think we ought to keep exploring past where we spent the night" says
Astran quietly, as he looks around, trying to get a fix on where the
noise is coming from.
"When I scanned the rooms past here before, they were both locked,
which means its probably not an exit. Where we were, however, is a lot
more open. As we didn't hear the footsteps before, its a good guess
that they are coming from down there" (he indicates the direction they
haven't been with a shrug). "trying to get back out here will certainly
make a lot of noise, and I'm not sure thats a good idea right now"

As they are walking, he moves up next to Siri, "I've had a chance to
think about your ring, after I looked at it last night. I /think/ it
might be a way of Marking someone, like a Horror would do" (he shudder
slightly at this). "I've heard of some Wizards able to do this, but my
first guess would be a Nethermancer, or a Corrupted person. Did Gavin
study Nethermancy, do you know? I don't see any wards on it, though, so
it should be safe for me to try and dispel the magic when we next stop,
if you like. I might not have enough skill to do it, in which case, I
also need to find an experienced wizard to continue my studies, so I'll
help you find someone to remove the magic. I wont let you be in thrall
to this man if I can prevent it!"
He seems quite fierce on the last point. Lets hope he's not thinking
of becoming a questor of Lochhost, eh? Bless.. :-)
