"I do believe someone wanted to see some maps of mine though, right Lyra?" he says as he looks to the elf. "If you would like, Lyra, you are welcome to look at them while I am here. In the morning, I shall take my leave."

"Yes Ander, I would love to see your maps and talk to you about them. Lets move over to this quiet area so that we do not disturb anyone."

Lyra leads Ander over to the corner where no one is resting. She waits patiently as he pulls his maps out.

{If he has maps of areas that she has not been or heard about she asks:

"Wow, you have been so many places. What is it like here, and here? What are the namegivers like? What is the trees like? Oh, Ander, I wish you were staying. I would love to learn more about your travels and the things that you have seen. No one here maps at all. I learn so much more when someone maps. That means they take the time to see all that is going on. What kinds of trees are where, what the ground looks like. If it is hilly or flat." Sigh. "But if you can't stay I do understand.}

Lyra gets very little sleep at all. She is looking at Ander's details and learning new mapping techniques. She makes a few notes in her journals but does not attempt to copy any of the maps.

In the morning before Anders leaves she waits until he is alone. "Ander, I have drawn you a small map from Paralanth to my home village. I would like you to have it. I think that there might be something there for you. That is if you choose to go there. Since currently you do not have a home if you let my family know that I sent you and they will help you until you get your feet on the ground." She then kisses Ander on the cheek and whispers. "Thank you for showing me your maps."

Andre looks up, a strong look on his face, "I had to get involved, Siri. What kind of person would I be if I didn't? Besides, I had to leave. He probably suspects I had something to do with your disappearance anyway. It was the perfect opportunity to get away. In his anger, he may seek me out as well. But I will make sure to be far away from him. If you wished it, I would be willing to stay by your side and help protect you, although it looks as though you already have plenty that could do that.

"Be warned though Siri. He has resources. I would not be surprised if he were even to strike a deal with a Horror just to get what he wants. He is possessed by greed, power, and pride. I don't even think of him as a father anymore, but more like an enemy who has kept me captive just like you have been. Had I had a lesser sense about me, I probably would have been susceptable to him brainwashing me to follow his every will."

Andre looks around the room a bit, "I will leave first thing in the morning. After that, I don't believe we shall see each other again unless the passions allow it. If so, it shall be a glorious thing. I will take your suggestion and seek out someone to court. For now, however, let's get some rest.

<<"I am to bring you back to Gavin. I am not going to do that. Instead I am here to warn you. If I go back and tell him you are dead, he will know I am lying. The ring on your finger let's him know that. So, I will not go back. I have disowned him.>>

Siri nods grimly, knowing what it meant to having disobeyed Gavin's word. How much fear that could evoke and how much suffering it usually entailed all too well."If I had a roof, you'd be welcome under it Andre. You'll not be holdless or unwelcome should you stay by my side. We're family in a twisted little way and I'll do what I can to help shelter you from him as well. You are too good a man to have his name. And too goood to live plagued by his shadow. I'll take care of this, I promise.I just need to be a bit stronger still."

"I've thought a good many times about what to do about the ring, but the only answers were to find one to dispell it or cut it off. That's why I came to Parlainth, my boy. I figured it was a good place to either come upon a good amount of coin to pay a wizard with or die and be done with this all together."

"But you shouldn't have come down here! I know he's having me followed, I've already dealt with some of that. And I know the risks I took in coming down here quite well. You've still have a life to liveAndre. I want you to live it, not get tangled any further in this mess."

"Find a young lady, take your coin and start a family somewhere far away from Jerris. Your happiness alone will defeat him. And by the birth of your first children I swear he'll be face down in a shallow grave and never haunt you, your mother or I again."

<<"I would challenge him even though he is my father, but knowing him and what power he posesses he would easily defeat me. So, I will leave and not return. He will be upset, and know that you are still alive. He will come after you Siri. Even after sending others out to get you, he will eventually do it himself if he has to.>>

"Let him! I've named a dagger with which to slit his throat already!" She had, not that she had the power enough behind it to strike him down as of yet. She was grossly undermatched when it came to facing her husband, but ferocity alone had to count for something.

<<"This is why I am here, to warn you Siri, to be on your best guard. I wish it was happier circumstances. I wish I could tell you that you are free of him. I'm sorry that I could not to better." With that he looks down at the ground, a sad look on his face.>>

Siri sighs, taking Andre's hands in hers. "My son, you're a treasure." Siri says to the man that must be just as old as she is. "Please don't be sad. You've already done more for me then anyone ever has and I can never rain enough thank yous and blessings on your brow for it."

"Come and sit. Meet the others or rest if you need to. This area seems to be well enough protected."

"Lyra, Grendahl, it is good to see you again! We knew that you'd be safe. And now, perhaps, we'll be safer knowing that you came down here so therefore there must be a way back up. "

"You see, Andre. You bring good news and rescue again." She squeezes his hand one last time then lets him go to do as he would. She was joyed to see him truly, but knew that as devious as Gavin was he knew that Andre would double cross him a second time. There'd be trouble coming up onto the streets of Haven again and she had to begin preparing.
