Andre's face quickly turns from happiness to sorrow, "Gavin is looking for you. He sent me after you shortly after you left. I was right on your trail for the most part, keeping up a hard pace. When I got to Haven I had heard of a large group of newly arrived adventurers who had trecked into the Twists. I couldn't imagine that one of them could be you.
"I checked out the inns to see if you had gotten a room, but no luck there. I figured you might be sleeping out on the streets, but it was raining hard. So, I knew that either something had happened to you or you were in the group heading to the Twists. I almost wanted to believe it wasn't true, and wanted to just turn around and go back. But I knew what Gavin would do. He would know you are alive. He always knows.
"Anyway, I tracked the trail all the way to the building where you had all fallen through a tunnel and ran into these two (pointing at Lyra and Grendahl). I'm glad to see you are alive and safe. However there is much trouble.
"I am to bring you back to Gavin. I am not going to do that. Instead I am here to warn you. If I go back and tell him you are dead, he will know I am lying. The ring on your finger let's him know that. So, I will not go back. I have disowned him.
"I would challenge him even though he is my father, but knowing him and what power he posesses he would easily defeat me. So, I will leave and not return. He will be upset, and know that you are still alive. He will come after you Siri. Even after sending others out to get you, he will eventually do it himself if he has to.
"This is why I am here, to warn you Siri, to be on your best guard. I wish it was happier circumstances. I wish I could tell you that you are free of him. I'm sorry that I could not to better."
With that he looks down at the ground, a sad look on his face.

Surprised, Siri gapes for a moment before rushing forward to embrace the young blonde man standing with Lyra and Grendahl. "Andre! What in the name of the Passions are you doing here?" She stepped back after a second, looking him up and down worriedly.
"Are you all right? You're not hurt are you? Is your mother all right? What are you doing here?" She laughs lightly, showing the most emotion that she has since she met up with the others. "Not that I'm not happy to see you! I'm estatic!" She hugs him again, grinning like a fool. "I thought for sure I'd never see you again."
