As you leave behind the rubble in the corridor and head upwards from where you are, you can feel a sense of wonderment for what might be behind the doors. Still, you remember that curiousity is what killed the cat, and it is sure to probably take care of a curious rookie such as you all are in some way or another. Perhaps later you may all return to those doors and see what was behind the doors.

As you head up the cool, damp corridor, you notice that it opens up quite wide about 30 feet from the cross section you were at before. Another 20 feet leads you to a large cross section with a hall way leading both left, right, up, and back down from where you came. The hallway is approximately 10 feet wide and stretches to the left and right for quite some ways.

To your left and right you can see doors lining the walls. Every 8 or so feet there is another door, on both sides of the hallway. The one on your left closest to you is open, along with a few others that line the wall on that same side. Across from them the doors are closed.

The door closest to you on the right is shut, along with a few more down the way. There are a few across from these doors that are open though.

Siri and Trystan check out the door closest to you on the left that is open. Trystan readies an arrow and covers Siri's back, just in case. The doors that are open are a gray steel. As the two look inside, they can see that the door opens up into a room.something of which seems to have been a storage room long ago. There are broken crates and boxes in the room. Across from the door is an entrance way to another room, and down another, and another.probably about 30 or more feet back towards where you had come from.

Down in the second and third room it looks like there are some homely features.like as if it is some rooms that you could stay in. Multiple rooms, perhaps. Taking a chance to inch their way in, and keeping the group close by for a quick retreat, the two enter further down. You can see that the rooms go down 5 deep, and sure enough it looks like simple living quarters. Homely, however, like for someone who is homeless or the like. Yet who would ever live down here is beyond all of you.

The rooms look like they have not been used in quite a while, and the atmosphere does seem inviting as a place to stay and get some rest. Stepping back to consider your options, you head off to the next door down and can see two rooms deep and then a door to perhaps a third room, although it is shut. It is solid steel, but not black like the doors you had seen earlier in the corridor by where you had fallen. There are more crates and boxes that look like they've long been emptied, but it's hard to tell what might be behind the closed door without opening it first.

The trickling water sounds seem to be coming from different directions in this part of the corridor. Probably mostly up from the cross section where you are all at. At this point of the catacombs there are just far too many options. Closed doors that lead to who knows where.and more corridors to follow should you wish.

You can see that Selwyn seems a little warn out. She speaks to the elves, "Whatever you all wish to do is fine with me. I could use a good meal and a good rest, as I am quite weak, but safety is the most important thing. If getting out of here means safety, then let us press on. When we do rest, you will have to tell me what has become of things."

Down the corridors, or into open or closed doors. The choices are yours my friends.

<Moves Please>

<I am still missing character updates from the last Legend Point Awards. If you are going to advance your character I suggest you do it now. You are free to increase rank without meditation or successful use (latter rule is thrown out for the sake of the PBeM). You may also hold out on the attribute point increase and advance circle, being able to advance in the attribute value later on with the necessary LPs. If you are confused, please let me know. You don't have to advance to 2nd circle, but I do suggest you at least increase some talents. >

<Astran, look for a separate E-Mail I will be sending you>

<Also, note for everyone, I will be trying to work up an updated drawing either tonight or in the morning.>
