>>before we continue, let me see what i can find out about this area. er.
maybe someone could climb back up and throw a rope back down? How may of us
have torches or light? I have a torch and.." (scrabbles in his belt pouch) "a
couple of candles. Oh! and some chalk!" He scribbles his Wizards Sigil on the
wall. "Now
we know where we started">>
Siri shakes her head. "I've a hand at climbing, perhaps if I could get a good
han hold and out cropping I could set a rope that all may climb up. Given
that the rope is long enough.. And-" she rifles through her pack (I'm assuming
that she picked it up when she walked out of the room, if not GM, please ignore
the following)
"-I've some rope as well.. Candles, a torch, a waterskin mostly filled, a
weeks rations give or take a few crumbs. Mind you, they're tasteless, miserable
things.. Hooks and line, but not much else of use except for clothing and
bedding and odds and ends like that."
"We'll have to take careful stock of our food and water. I can't imagine
anything down here being safe to consume."
"Is everyone ok?"
>>"I think I know where we are. At least in general. It was called the
Southern Catacombs. It used to be a storage area, used by the merchants.
Then, when the treasury was overfilled, some of it was used for storing
treasure instead of just merchants goods. And as far as I know, they also
installed a lot of traps and stuff. So... we'll need to be careful.">>
"So there's a good chance if this was a section known to hold treasure that
we'll run into other adventurers. That's a good thing, perhaps we could barter
for food and perhaps gang up for numbers until we get out of here if we meet
and friendly sorts."
"Traps though.. We'll have to be extra careful. I've not but practical
knowledge on how to deal with them thus far. Does anyone have potions? Anything of
the like so we know where to take others when and if badly wounded?"
>>"This will be fun. Now we just have to get out by ourselves out. We will
manage it though." He checks his bag "I have trail rations." Then he looks up
still feeling patient right now and not worried quite yet over thier situation>>
Siri smiles to the elf. "We will. Don't you worry a bit about that. I may not
be a scout, but I can be very quiet and fast. I'll try to get us around
trouble as best as I can. The more we avoid the better, right?"
>>"Nightwind?" Illyana asks softly. "Would you mind telling me exactly what
the elf said? Was it as Berryblood said or was there more to it?" Then she
looks around and it is as if she just now notices something. "And where is
Lyra and... ehm... the dwarf? Have you seen them?">>
Siri turns when she hears this, looking from Nightwind to Kestrel. "That
would be a good thing to know. Quickly though. I suggest we take stop, yell for
the two, for they surely weren't in the rubble or we'd have seen it scrounging
around earlier. Then we need to move, and fast. We made a whole lot of noise
crashing down here and I'm sure everything and it's mother's uncle will be here
soon enough to check out what happened."
She gives the swordmaster's arm a sympathetic squeeze before passing by,
going to get a good look to see if she can get any hand holds and about how far
until it gets tricky.
