Berryblood, upon seeing those that stand in his way, puts his weapon away.
"Fine. I suppose maybe a better way of doing this would be to get her
somewhere safe and attempt to help her regain her strength so she may
remember her past.
"Her name is Selwyn. She said that she was tortured by a Horror here who
visited her constantly. That is all she can remember. He left her for
dead, and she has sustained her life here for all these many years eating
the fungus that grows on the wall. I assumed too much, perhaps, when
thinking she should be able to remember something right away. Instead of
drawing your swords and being so hasty to kill me, perhaps your energy would
be better saved helping carry the elf back to the shop, and then we can
figure what to do from there?"
With that, Berryblood waves the way for most of you to take lead ahead of
him.
Siri and Illyana keep their stern stares on the troll, anxiously waiting for
an opportunity to see what Berryblood might taste like after pounding out
his meat with a mace. The two fiesty females keep the distance
between Berryblood and Selwyn while Endok-Tuk takes her into his arms.
Siri and Illyana remain keeping a keen eye on the suspicious troll.
Berryblood seems a bit frustrated with the situation, and not trusting him
Grendahl and Siri follow behind him, although having to keep close
boundaries while walking through the tunnel. Illyana stays behind Endok-Tuk,
keeping even more distance between her and Berryblood.
Leading in front is T'sunami, followed by Lyra, Nightwind, Kestrel, and then
Endok-Tuk. Suddenly as T'sunami rounds the corner, you begin to hear a loud
grumbling sound. Berryblood yells out, "RUN! I don't think this tunnel was
meant for this much weight! HURRY IT'S GOING TO COLLAPSE!"
T'sunami in front attempts to start running, but falls along with the
crumbling floor. Lyra manages to jump over him as he falls, and runs with
all her might to avoid the falling rocks. The scurry is too much, and soon
dirt is up everywhere. Grendahl manages to keep his footing, but sees his
companions in front of him fall down with the rubble. Soon the ceiling is
where the floor was and Grendahl is left with what looks to be his
companions buried far down beneath it all.
Lyra looks back, and sees the fallen cieling and hears the screams. She
looks to see if anyone else has made it, but only the dwarf comes around the
corner, a sad look in his face.
The rest of you take in what you can, coughing hard and struggling to see.
You all seem to be all right, including Selwyn whom Endok-Tuk managed to
hang on to as he fell. You suffer minor scratches, some even being fully
protected from the armor that you wear.
Through the dust, you see Berryblood's light quartz on the ground. Holding
it is the large troll's hand, sticking out from the rubble, a blood puddle
surrounding the arm coming from underneath the rubble from where the rest of
him is. You uncover the rocks, and find that Berryblood took a large
bludgeon to the head from one of the rocks. He lays before you dead, and
before you all is a long corridor.
You could manage to walk down the one way past the rubble. In the opposite
direction is a cross in the tunnel. One path leading up, one leading down,
one leading right, and one leading left. The one leading left is where the
rubble is. To the right is a door, and leading down is a door. Leading up
is a long path that goes on for a ways.
The walls are made of stone. The doors are made of steel. Before you lays
many options. But you realize that you are in very much unfamiliar
territory. The Southern Catacombs...perhaps?

<Sorry for the liberty taken with this post. This last session was intended
to move things along, hence the reason for me having a mid-GM post.
Hopefully I did not take too much liberty with what had happened. I am
sorry I robbed Siri and Illyana the opportunity to do the job that the rocks
had done.>
