Illyana and Astran are talking quietly, while Lyra draws her map. Occasionally, Illyana glances at the map to see what Lyra is making of their twisted encounters so far, but it seems she is preoccupied with her conversation with Astran.
When Lyra speaks, Illyana smilingly turns her head towards the elven scout and says: "I'm from Throal - or actually one of the smaller villages just outside Throal. A no-name farming community. My Gramps was a Swordmaster. He was the first to be called Sworddancer - Jeran Sworddancer, actually, in case any of you have heard of him - and I guess I kind of inherited the family legacy. I think my Ma had talent, when she was young, but she married Dad and had us - and then she died. Anyway, Gramps insisted that I should be called Sworddancer, so I was. And perhaps he had some sort of vision, 'cause..." She pauses. "Well, it just seems to work out, that's all."
"So where do you come from yourself?" she asks the elf.

Lyra sits down near Illyana and pulls our a piece of map paper out of her map case. She then starts sketching out the areas that have been traveled thru from the time we left the gates of Haven until now. At the area of the combat she starts doodling the combat. She then writes along the edges all the major things that have happen on our trip like a journal. After all the important preliminary sketches are done she starts going back over everything with more details.
{If she doesn't complete it all now that is fine. She starts with sketches and notes so she can fill in the details later if need be.}
"So where is everyone from? I'm from a small village just above Urupa. I've lived there all of my life. I've always loved to draw and sketch. Does anyone else here make maps? If you do I would love to see them sometime. I always like to keep up with where I've been, who I've met and what I've done. I feel maps are like a journal. That is if you treat them like one. Each map can tell a story if you let it. Someone had to go places to draw the maps. And each person sees things differently. So. tell me about yourselves."
