Astran looks down during the tirade, tears making tracks through the
grime on his cheeks, gone stark pale from shock and pain. Unnoticed,
blood so dark is is almost black runs in a line from his nose.
"You didn't see her" He mumbled, "It crept through her, clouding her,
killing her. I had to do something. I *could* do something, so I did."
He looks up, anger sparking through the grief and dawning horror at
what he has done.
"Would you carry a sword, and not use it? *I'm* the one damned here.
If a Horror did mark me - I'll fight it. I'm not a cadaver man yet."
He looks down again, all the fire spent in this one outburst. "You
shouldn't trust me, though. Leave me here. I'll find the Horror and
kill it, then catch up with you."
