Astran looks pale but composed, his eyes slightly unfocused as he
maintains concentration on both the information coming in from his
sensing spell, and the need to weave more spells to fight the Ghouls.
He's been so focussed on his spellcasting, and avoiding the atacks in
the melee, that he hadn't realised where he had ended up, and looks
round slightly more scared than he is willing to admit - he didn't mean
to end up in the fighting! Seeing the wounded Illyana, however, he
knows he cannot fall back now until someone replaces him, or they will
all be overwhelmed, so he managed to overcome his fear of both the
creatures before him, and the frantic battle around him and stays his
place in the line (if someone does replace him, though, he will give
them a grateful smile and fall back behind the initial line to
concentrate on his spellcasting.
As he looks round, though, something in Illyana's posture makes him
look again, seeing beyond the physical. He gasps slightly, putting one
hand to his mouth, thinking furiously.
