Doug,

I just wanted to comment again on the list instead of privately that this
did really help clear up the situation. In one game I ran, I actually had a
few photoshop images set up with layers, different icons for each player
(miniatures if you will), and major opponents. By turning layers on and off
and moving icons around (photoshop is handy :) ), I was able to pass a
'battlemat' out every so often in combat.

I know Earthdawn doesn't rely heavily upon miniatures, but in a pbem where
you don't have the face-to-face interaction to clear things up, I think a
image of a battlemat really helps everyone get on the same page. I don't
know how long something like this takes you to make, or if you have time,
but if we could get one of these at the beginning of most combats and
whenever the situation changes dramatically, I think it'd be very helpful.

Anyone else think this would be really helpful if Doug was able?

Hey,

Someone asked if I could do a quick sketch to show where everyone is in
relationship to the enemies. So here ya go. The best my hand can do with a
mouse in mspaint. Do not expect much and do not complain :-).
