Allowing the others to make their arrangements with the gate watchers firs,
T'sunami takes the opportunity to remove a thin blade from its sheath in the
small of his back. A large leather collar attaches the weapon to the
t'skrang's tail and after a few tentative tailwhips to test the lacings
T'sunami follows his companions out into the ruins.

Eyes far less keen than his elven companions, T'sunami has only what short
time the ruins are illuminated by lightning flashes to take in his
surroundings. The rain seems to bother him little if at all - his head is
devoid of hair to mat down in his eyes, and his cloak has been tucked neatly
around his backpack to keep its contents dry but not otherwise keep him dry.

Instead it is the foreboding nature of the ruins and the presence of its
unknown inhabitance that concern him. Accusing him of fearing the ruins
would be correct, yet paradoxically wrong. Only the foolish would march
into the Forgotten City without fear, and T’sunami was no fool, but jik’
harra demanded it be done and done well. T’sunami presses forward into the
Twists with a smile and a swagger - chilled by the icy grip of fear, yet
warmed by its presence.

"T'sunami," the t'skrang adds in a low voice. His eyes scan the ruins
anxiously, nostrils flaring and taking in the night air. "I also follow the
Way of War." T'sunami's tail slowly sways behind him, the thin tail-blade
hovering inches from the broken street and reflecting the flash of lighting
overhead.

T’sunami nods in agreement, brushing of the disdain the troll’s voice. “I’
ll stay near the magician,” he says, nodding to Endok-Tuk, “and let those
whose eyes see better than mine tonight to lead and watch our back.”

I'm holding off on reactions to the attack, waiting for a response from Doug
on a few questions.
