Listening to the mysterious words of the passionate stranger, a nervous
excitement slowly builds within Trystan's mind. As the troll steps out into
the common room of the inn, he watches as a large party of Namegivers
follows the adventurer.
'So many,' he thinks. 'With the security these numbers can provide,
assuming all these seekers of fortune know what they're doing, this
opportunity could be the perfect chance for me to begin building my own
legend. But I've only just arrived - can such an opportunity as this really
be so convenient?'
Setting his bone-dry mug on the bar behind him, Trystan slowly makes his
way through the bustle of the tavern, trailing behind the curious band of
interested Namegivers. Crossing his arms and leaning against the back wall
of the common area when he steps through the threshold, he listens intently
to the hurried description the troll spills out. After the giant begins to
make his way up the stairs, Trystan glances around the room focusing on each
individual face. Considering the fact that many of the people in the room
might have motives and desires similar to his own, he pays special attention
as other members of the group begin to introduce themselves.
When a lull in the conversation presents itself, Trystan gazes out from
behind his rain dampened hair, one foot propped against the wall behind him,
and says, "I am called Trystan and am both a poet and an Archer." Then, his
voice falling suddenly and strangely silent, the young human's eyes,
conveying a wisdom beyond his years, gaze slowly across each face in patient
expectation.
