First, I want to clarify that I wasn't ever trying to be critical of anyone.
I was unsure about the location, situation, so posted for clarification. It
went to the list instead of just Doug as my way of asking a question while
simultaniously letting everyone why I wouldn't be responding right away in
case they were waiting for me. It wasn't an attempt to "call anyone out" or
be insulting of anyone's writing.
The second issue I had came from the situation as I understood it. If
T'sunamis and the two trolls were upstairs talking, then they would have to
be shouting to be heard in the common room over the low din of conversation
that would be going on there. That would imply that T'sunami was getting
heated, or angry, which wasn't the case as implied by what little casual I
included. It was an even-level discussion, not a shouting match. I didn't
like that my actions were changed, so I sent a quick reply.
Granted it was short and to the point, but I was in a rush. In retrospect I
should have waited until I had a little more time, but I got impatient. I
will appologize for my impacients, but I do maintain that there was an
assumption made about T'sunami's actions that wasn't true.
I don't think the discussion was private or any way secret, but it was
taking place in a slightly different part of the tavern seperated by (in my
impression) a wall or two. The way I see it, the posts were sent to the
list for both archival purposes, and so that when someone did post that
their character was upstairs following the troll, they would be able to
catch up to the posts.
I appologize if my posts caused some sort of resentment, but they were only
meant for clarification. I invite anyone who disagrees with any posts I
make or thing I did something wrong to please email me or contact me using
the AIM info I provided before. I rather clear things up quickly than get
players angry at each other.
