PBeM Game Things

Hey all,

Just wanted to say I am happy with the way things are looking and look forward to continuing this game. While reading the posts thus far I realized that it is important I point something out. I may need to interrupt your character's actions from time to time when I make new posts. I hope that this will not occur often, and will try to make the GM posts as clear as possible so that your characters will most likely not do something past where I want them to act.

I'm sure this will make sense to some of you when I make the next post for your characters and I hope it will not affect the flow of things too much. I am fairly new to GMing PBeMs and so am still getting used to finding what works based on past experiences and experiences in playing in a PBeM. I just wanted to get the warning out there so you guys aren't upset when half the actions you said your character took are interrupted mid-way.

Again, I will try to take precautions so that this does not happen often, and if anyone has any suggestions as to ways to avoid this please let me know.

Also, I wanted to point out that the introductory posts count as Saturday's GM post. I say this because I am not going to make the next post until I have everyone's reply. Of course, if your reply is not in by Wednesday (or was it Thursday?) then I will take liberty of your character for that post.

Because I am likely to not get any other posts at this time besides the initial one you have all sent or are sending, there is a good chance I will send a GM post before Wednesday should I have everyone's reply. Once I start posting posts that affect a group of you, however, I will then wait until the said days before making the GM posts.

I hope all of this makes sense. It's 1:00 a.m. and I'm pretty tired as I'm writing this. I just wanted to make sure I told you all this before I forget.

Any questions let me know.
