before he introduces himself.

bought by the Elf, knowing full well that a drunken Obsidiman stumbling
about an Inn would be more dangerous than the brawl, which was so nearly
avoided, instead contenting himself with a squirt of water from his skin.
"My Orkish companion is the scout Kerrick, no doubt you have heard of him
for there is no finer master of tracking within all of Barsaive. However
you will find his temperament more stable than your last friends."
