As a group you step back and allow Pean a little room to cast his spell. He begins moving his hands, weaving the mystical energies around him and at the culmination of his incantation he looks up to see the spell failed. He moves through the motions one more time and at the culmination of the spell you see a figure begin to materialise in front of Pean.
You hear Lenora gasp as the spirit that appears takes on the same form as Pean himself. The only difference between the two is that the spirits edges seem to shift slightly proving it as a spirit rather than a physical being. Pean looks at the spirit and smiles.
"Investigate the contents of the crystal room and return to tell us of its contents." His instructions quick and quiet, the spirit half bows to the nethermancer and turns to begin its journey to the crystal room.
Halfway across the distance to the room you rub your eyes as suddenly all of the cadaver men and the spirit along with it disappear into thin air. The room is the only thing that now stands in your field of vision. Pean realises that his spell has somehow been nullified and the spirit no longer exists.
