OOC: correct?
Pean muses, amused by the conversation.
"Although it may amuse you to hear it, I am in favor of a bold frontal
assault. We have learned all we can short of a volunteer walking up to
the cadaver men and asking them. It seems unlikely that the thing is
benevolent - speaking as a Nethermancer, I can honestly say I have
heard of no good being that is worshiped by Cadaver Men.. If I create a
warding circle just back here, it will give us a place to retreat to,
or slow them down if we need to make a more...strategic retreat.

So, here is my plan, and please, the warriors among us dissect it
thoroughly, I have made no study of the art of war.
We form up into spellcasters at the back, Warriors at the front, and
proceed down into the cavern, issuing a challenge to the cadaver men.
Assuming they don't provide sufficient explanation - and I don't
consider attempting to eat my brains an explanation - we take out the
cadaver men, using whatever ranged weapons we possess, until they enter
hand to hand combat range. Then we see if the horror does anything, or
if we can get a better look at it closer up.."
