"I assure you I do not truly know what a hero Rhys Fellblade once was. I
only know what I am told of this Rhys Fellblade, and can only assume that
what I am being told...that I am him...is true. I have nothing else to go
on. For all I know, I could very well have taken a life in cold blood. Or,
I could simply look like Rhys Fellblade and be someone else."
Maerath pauses for a moment. "The only thing that links me to him would be
the armor I am wearing and the weapons I yield, particiularly this
two-handed sword. Other than that...hell, I can hardly believe I felled a
wyvern by myself. Supposedly if I am Rhys Fellblade I am a great warrior or
something. Possibly even legendary, who knows. I have had my share of luck
in battle, but that's all I account it to...luck.
"Give granted, there are quite a few things that lead me to doubt that I
couldn't be Rhys or Alaric for that matter. The dreams for example..."
Maerath quickly looks up at Ayoe, and then to Lenora, as he realizes he may
have just broken some confidence. "Uh...*ahem*...at any rate, I personally
do not care whether you come or not to seek out my past. But it is the
others who would have to approve of your company."
