Pean speaks up at this point;
"I cannot believe we are standing here talking about this. The
creature is obviously a horror tainted spirit, and no good can come of
leaving it alive to snare another hapless passer by. We should kill it
now and continue into the Kaer, as originally planned before all of
this came about.
Forgive me, Ayoe, Kerrick, you do not know the history of this "Todiel"
as it styles itself. We know only that we can draw from our encounters
with it. Shalandra has given you the details, but I can tell you that
it is not restrained by wards against Horrors or their minions, and
that it is utterly selfish in pursuing its own survival. The passions
alone know how many bodies it has swapped in its life, to continue its
longevity. Given the choice, it would have left Temorya to rot in its
old body, and pretended it knew nothing about the swap process. It
volunteered no useful information about this place, and likely will
not, or can not, reveal more. I remind everyone we do not know the
extent of its powers. I, for one, do not wish to return from what is
likely to be a costly battle with the inhabitants of this place, to be
trapped by this thing, or swapped bodies with it. It is a clear and
present danger to us, and to Barsaive. We should kill it now.
But to answer your question, no, we know nothing of this horror beyond
its minions we have slain so far - a bone shambler and several
misshapen, corrupted troll like creatures."
