Garrott severs an amount of line from that, which is attached to his
pack and binds the hands and feet of Todiel securely, cutting a wad of cloth
from his shirt, he also stuffs this in the mouth of the old troll as well as
cutting a blindfold from the hapless beings shirt. Satisfied that his
bindings are secured he takes his waterskin and squirts an amount of water
on the knots making them swell and then without thought leans down to the
Troll.
"I swear to you by Raggok Todiel, should you even appear to be trying
anything and I will smash your bony skull like a rotten melon, scattering
the remains to the four directions of Barsaive and leave your useless corpse
for the Gnashers." Hefting him up effortlessly the big warrior carries the
Troll back into the Kaer dumping him in a corner and turning to Angavorn.
"Seal the Kaer." Waiting for the doors to seal, he regards Angavorn.
"Please watch the Troll and if he moves, severe it's head from it's
shoulders." Although his request sounds harsh, the Obsidiman is acting upon
instinct when it comes to the being inhabiting the Troll's body. He had
learnt long ago to trust his instinct and he was sure that Todiel would not
risk death.
Walking to Shalmar, the big Obsidiman looks to Shalandra awaiting her
consent (and that of the steed) before gently touching the face of the noble
mount.
"You have the heart of a warrior Shalamar, my thanks to you." Moving to
Shalandra's side the warrior hands her his waterskin and also one of his
masisve shirts. "I know my physician skills would likely count for little
for Shalamar, though may I recomend that you bathe the wounds and also bind
any that appear on the legs, perhaps my limited stocks of slave may contain
some ea tree oil or peppermint, which may serve to disinfect the wound if
boiled in the water first...I would not like to see a wound turn septic here
in the Badlands." He checks his pack and pouches for the oil or leaves,
handing them to Shalandra if he has them.
Finally he seems to notice the banter between the new comers and also
the party and he steps before Pean.
"Hold Pean, I know Kerrick well as he travelled with me from Bartertown and
then through Akarem, his word is honourable and his intentions are usually
tied to those of Mynbruje, though there is a simple way to find out if he is
indeed the one that I travelled with." Garrott turned to his old friend a
smile on his face that was warm and welcoming. "Tell me Kerrick, who was
the old woman Ork who travelled with us from Bartertown and did she leave to
become a teacher of the blade?" Of course Garrott knew of the mistakes
within the question and he was sure that Kerrick would spot them as
flawlessly as he did the tracks of his quarry.
(If he answers correctly Garrott will smile widely and turn to Pean. Should
he fail, he will snarl and slam his fist into the deceivers face, attacking
him until unconciousness.)
"Indeed that is the correct answer my old friend...I vouch on my honour
for the word of my friend here Pean, for he is who he claims to be."
Turning to the beautiful Elf, Garrott also smiles, placing his right fist in
his open left plam and bowing his head. "Ayoë Mashiara, I welcome you as a
companion of Kerrick I would also offer my friendship and good will."
Waiting for the Elf's reply, the big warrior answers politely (will post as
required) before turning back to Kerrick. "Come my old friend, we must talk
of what has passed, I assume that none here has any issues with us taking a
short break before pushing on to find the artefact?"
