Pean, Angavorn, Temorya (aka the old troll) Shalandra and Lenora make their way into the entrance tunnel. Heading upward it takes them about an hour to reach the entrance cavern as you have to wait for Temorya to rest several times. The old troll wheezes constantly and you see the colour drain from his face several times enough to scare you and halt the march.
Garrott, Rose, Maerath, Elklisee and Farli busy themselves spreading and destroying the remains of the bone shambler. After about half an hour you have done sufficient damage to cause the pieces to at last fall dormant. After this you take to the entrance of the tunnel to await a resolution to the situation with Todiel and Temorya one way or another.
The time passes slowly for both groups. Not having an exact time of how long you will need to remain apart the time seems to drag twice as slow than if the groups were together. The groups in the entrance chamber rest against walls or pace about slowly, holding their breath each time they hear the smallest sound from outside the chamber or further inside the tunnel that leads down to the main Kaer. For the group in the main Kaer you are kept alert and full of adrenaline by all forms of noises that fill the near abandoned structure. From a long way off you begin to be sure you can hear the sounds of screaming and torture to all manner of creatures. Knowing you are too weak without the other group you bide your time trying to mark the location of the noise although it reverberates throughout the chamber.
After several hours in the upper chamber you hear something from above, outside. Something muffled.
CLANG!
As if it is metal striking on stone. It startles you all and Temorya leaps to his feet.
CLANG! The sound reverberates around the chamber. Something or someone is trying to get in you are sure of it.....
At the same time in the lower chamber, you are roused from your thoughts by a scream, starting faint but growing louder as seconds tick by. You see Todiel, in Temorya's body flying toward you all.
"AAaaaaaaaaaagggggggggggghhhhhhhhh" He screams brandishing his windling broadsword as he closes with you all.
