Maerath looks up at Pean as he speaks, and upon finishing Maerath speaks to the group, "You know, as I sit here thinking about this interrogation, a particular thought crossed my mind. Todiel, if you are innocent, then please forgive these assumptions. But something I would like to know is...let's see, how long did you say you've been here? And in all that time of being here, something like this body swapping has never happened before? If what you say is true, then I wonder if it was the staff that caused the switch?
"I don't know. I have to agree with Pean that things do seem a little fishy here. If it wasn't the staff that caused the switch, then you must know something. There is no way this could have been one of those random occurances. It just doesn't make sense. I'm sure we all could sit here and come up with theories. I, for one, am a little uncomfortable about continuing though if you are not telling us everything.
"Be mad if you wish, Todiel, but again...if you're innocent I'm sure you can completely understand why we have much to assume. We have a companion who does not have his normal body. And while although many would say this is an improvement to Temorya, this is most likely frightening to him as it would be to any of us.
"You know what else Todiel? Why do you get so defensive at us assuming much? Seems if you DID understand the situation you would not be getting so upset. Just my observation though." Maerath looks at the Windling, awaiting an answer to both him and Pean.

Todiel looks furtive through Pean's speech and nervous at the obsidiman as he hefts his hammer and threatens him. "Pah! Threats and words. We stand in the haven of a horror and you seek enemies amongst those that you travel with? I am of no use in a fight as I am not trained and nor do I have a blade to aid you with. Threads that cant be traced and an assumption that other groups have all fallen prey to me - the mystical body thief. All of you listen to yourselves for I am afraid that you all may be mad.! If you must know how the other adventurers entered, the first was an elementalist who turned himself to water and flowed through the hole. From there they opened the Kaer doors and built the wheel that opens it now. The second group negotiated with me to open the doors with fresh food and water. Satisfied? I stay close with Temorya so that I may make sure my body is fit to return to. No other reason!"
By the end of his speech the little windling appears incensed at the accusations and threats laid against him.
Pean, however, is smiling sardonically, and at the end of the speech claps his hands sarcastically.
"A good speech. Much practice have you? Satisfied, you ask? Not in the least. You explain how the others arrived, but not how you got here. But there is a simple test, I think. I have noticed you stay close to Temorya. If what you say is true, you wont mind being separated from him for a while. We're a robust band of adventurers, we can look after both bodies, as we have just amply demonstrated. How about you accompany a few of us to the entrance while Temorya remains here? If what you say is true, this will not cause you any problems. If, as I suspect, your proximity is the key to taking over our friends body, it will soon be proved. Now, if you're as innocent as you claim, you'll readily agree, hmm?"
As he is speaking, he is also attempting to astrally perceive both Temorya and Tobias, and trace the thread going from Tobias..
