Maerath clenches his sword tightly and catches himself having the urge to surprise the enemies and catch them off guard. He looks over to Rose and tries to keep an eye on her that she does not leave his sight. It was hard enough seeing her unconscious when she was a fighting companion. It would be even harder to face something like that now that they have a more meaningful companionship. As he starts to feel the need to protect her he realizes that she too is a Warrior and can swing a weapon the same as he can. A smile comes to his face as he realizes this. "Let's both kick this creature's ass Rose." he thinks to himself. He then looks to his companions, trying to figure what they are thinking.
Maerath looks around the room quickly trying to look towards any alternatives that may be better to use. "Is there something that will help us surprise the beast? Is there something I could find to take it off guard? What if I were to take the creature's view completely away from everyone else and have it face me on the other side while everyone else bombards it from the other?" Maerath looks frustrated as he realizes he cannot even suggest anything to the others without risking catching the creature's attention. He then he looks to everyone and makes his hands open and quickly moves them inward as if towards an invisible object in the middle. He looks especially to Garrott and Rose with a look of approval, hoping that they know what it is he is suggesting.
He then holds two fingers up.
Maerath then makes the other gesture of pointing to himself and then makes his fingers look as though they are running around the fist of his hand holding the sword. He then punches his hand multiple times and then points to everyone else. He then makes his fingers run in from the opposite side of his fist and makes the same punching gestures. He looks again to everyone and waits. Do they approve either suggestion? Do they even understand what the heck he's trying to say?

Pean finishes his circle and Temorya causes his clothing to billow out with the touch of his air armour spell. Garrott, Farli, Suskin, Lenora, Maerath and Rose fan out so they can see one another in the distance and begin to move toward the centre of the chamber. Shalandra and Angavorn hang back to protect the party from any other surprises that may happen upon the rest of the party as they trail behind, just in eyesight of the lead group.
Moving at a steady pace the group travels a hundred yards into the gloom. The ambient light from the dull light quartz giving you enough viewing distance to see about 40 yards or so around you. The dragging of bone on stone sound in the chamber louder as you push on further.
Garrott, Farli and Lenora all spot it at the same time and hiss a warning to those that don't. You look across to them and see them motioning with their arm in a particular direction. The remainder of your group catch up to you to see what is happening and look out also at the scene.
Squinting you can make out the shape of something fairly large and roundish rolling across the cavern floor. It would be about two yards in diameter but its shape is irregular, with several things poking out of the main ball. They look like different weapons and bones, as if the thing is made up of bodies and their equipment.
Trailing behind the creature you see several humanoid figures. They seem stooped and walk in an unnatural gait. Following them you see yet another two figures. They are monstrous, almost 12 foot tall, they walk holding large clubs in their hands silently behind the procession.
You hold your breath at the sight. The group appear to be keeping a lookout for intruders though none call out as they pass, leaving you to think that they have not noticed you. Certain that they will be out of sight in only a minute or so you consider your options. Fight or push on to see if you can find anything else in the chamber.....
