"To what end?" Interupts Pean suddenly. "Why fight, if thats what
you're doing, to keep a ruined Kaer's entrance way clear?"

If the troll has answered the question above, Pean replies;
"Fair enough. We seek treasures long guarded. Have you heard of a
dwarf called Heffgold?

Pean raises his staff high, to let the light crystal affixed to its tip
shed more light on the area, then sighs, pulls himself to his feet from
where he was tending someone's injuries, paces towards the downed
Angavorm, spits on his hand, and begins to cast Life Circle of One,
encompassing as many of the wounded as possible, and indicating that
the walking wounded should step inside the protection, then he waits,
for whatever horror is to come lurching out from the stygian depths..

"Shalandra, Farli, bring them here, please, slowly, one at a time"
commands Pean in a strained voice, as he narrows his eyes and focuses
his sight on the two animals, using the enhanced perception of the
otherworld his Discipline provides him (OOC: Astral sight check,
please).
He indicates a spot *within* the circle, his plan, he hopes, clear - if
they are Corrupt, it will quickly be apparent...
