Shalandra looks up to see Shalamar and Suskin coming up the hallway. She turns her head to the other side of her and says "Thank You." Then looks confused like whome she was speaking to is gone. She then turns to Shalamar and raises an unbroken arm up to her muzzle. Touching her again brings a huge smile to Shalandra's face and she whispers something to the horse that then nuzzles her face and licks her cheek.

Shalandra looks for Pean and calls him to her.

{Shalandra will use any remaining recovery tests today. (btw what bones are broken so I can play it out) Tomorrow she will do 1/2 of her recovery tests in the morning and see from there how much damage she has and what still hurts before determing when to do the rest for the next day. My goal is to get mobil}

  Temorya's windling body considers you all for a moment as you prepare to leave. You can hear the sounds above you diminishing as you hear more of the creatures fall foul of the spells that Pean created until you can hear no more noises from above, the creatures moved on or all killed. The windling sighs and begins to speak.

  "I have not used my name in such a long time but I am known only as Todiel. I am the lone inhabitant of this place, apart from the darkness who infest the chambers beyond here. You are safest here, so rest now and seat yourselves, for travelling any further with your present condition is asking for death."

  "I have been here for six years now. I fight to keep this area clean from the darkness, though the darkness is strong here and I have worked tirelessly for little result. The Kaer was abandoned or destroyed by the time that I first arrived here and I know only small details of what lies further. I know where the food chambers are and also have been to the great hall. I can direct you to a water source, though I think even that is dangerous."

  "Whatever happens though, I will join you whilst you are here, until at least our predicament is rectified. Then I must return and continue the work that I have started here."

  "What brings you all to this place. What has bought you here, with so many Kaer's in the area around us it seems strange that you would choose one of the hardest to enter?"

  You are slightly unsettled at now having to think of your windling companions body as belonging to someone else. He speaks with the slow determined pace of a troll and not with the quickened, excited pitch you are used to from Temorya.

  The entrance chamber that surrounds you is clean and well tended for. You can see that the wheel that was used to open the Kaer doors is in fact a new addition, possibly built by the troll, the back side of the doors covered in the familiar markings of the Theran Rite of passage. These doors were obviously not strong enough to hold off the onslaught of the horrors that infested this area.

  Only one exit leads off from this area and heads down a steep staired passageway, large enough for any troll to walk comfortably in and wide enough for three mounted riders to ride down. Other than your own voices the noise dies completely to a stop and covers the chamber in aheavy cloak. You can see through the hole that Temorya came through that above has fallen into the darkness of night and you can feel the air begin to take on a chill.

  Suddenly, the silence is broken and from the stairwell comes a sound. It begins to get louder, as though a horse was walking up the stair. Without a second glance, the being known as Todiel moves to a darkened corner, obvious fear in his eyes. You drag your weapons to hand, assuming that you are to face what Todiel calls the darkness.

  You are without a doubt surprised as you see come to the top of the stair Shalamar and Suskin padding along behind her. Suskin does a full leap toward Farli, ending in a playful roll with her and Shalamar moves to the side of her mistress who looks in wonder and delight. You all note a fine new reign attached to Shalamar that appears to be threaded through with a thread of gold.
