My suggestion to everyone on the list (except for John who is a lost cause
with his Mac lol) is to have everyone get Trillian. If you already have
ICQ, AIM, Yahoo IM, or MSN messenger you can just keep your ID but it allows
you to add other users who have other IMs to your buddy list as well.
Hence, I can have my AIM ID and add someone to my buddy list who has MSN
Messenger. However, in order to do this for each IM service you will need
to sign up with each. So if you have AIM already, and someone else has MSN,
you will need to get an MSN ID in order to make it work. However, if both
of you have Trillian only one of you would need to do this.
It would be most beneficial though to get Trillian and sign up for each of
the free services and then that way you can just use it for each. It also
makes it very nice if there's a few of us on at the same time and then we
can just join a group chat.

I would encourage you to do such an illegal thing. =)
