As Temorya begins to tell you his plans for crawling into the hole and Garrott suggests knocking, you begin to hear noises echo about the ravine. It starts as a low level grinding of stone against stone, like the crunch of gravel under your feet. The noise grows louder, echoing in the ravine to almost deafening proportions.
Keeping an eye on the entrance to the ravine, still some mile to a mile and a half away, you begin to see something enter the ravine, from both sides. The calls go up from several of you at the sight. The creatures appear to be only about the size of a medium dog, and you would say that they are dogs, but for the way they move. Bounding, almost like a frog hops from one lilypad to the other.
You see no end to the creatures and soon the top of the ravines swarm in their numbers. They move swiftly too, making distance quickly. In only a few seconds of seeing the first you count the number on either side at around 20 and you can see more entering the ravine.......
<Welcome to the Badlands, we got fun and games, we got everything you want.... OK bad Guns and Roses reference>
<Nobody succeeds in making a positive ID of the creatures>
<At the pace they are moving - 10 rounds maybe before you are swamped.....>
<Moves Please>
<Cheers>
