Maerath takes his sword and swings it a few times. "At any rate, I fear that if we do get this door open something may very well lunge out at us. You never know...but it's better to be safe than sorry. Pean, if we are able to figure a way to get this open do you have any spells you could cast on our little area here in case something does come out and we have to fight? Some sort of circle of protection or something similar to what you cast on the animals? I don't know what you have up your sleeve, but it may be nice to be prepared lest we have a battle on our hands before we even make it inside of the kaer. Just a thought..."

Rose nods "I agree with Lenora. Lets be cautious before we accidentally set spells and traps off. We don't know how that spell is set. I'd rather err on the side of caution then get killed so soon after leaving my teacher." She shifts her wieght so that she leans on her axe a bit and then smiles a Maerath "You are not the only one with a heavy weapon my friend. Oh well. We simply like our heavy weapons too much to give them up." She smiles as she hoists her axe again to start searching as Lenora suggested.
